What we're looking for:
Seeking an exceptionally passionate individual who is excited to be part of Chick Boss Cake's mission in providing the best cake & desserts in town! Must be enthusiastic and adaptable to changes we are always innovating new products & introducing fun new desserts to our menu. Previous experience is an asset; however, we are willing to train the right individual for the job.
Must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs bags of product & be able to stand and move around for extended periods of time.
Job Duties:
These duties vary based on the position you are hired for but may include any of the following:
● Bake cakes, cupcakes by precisely following recipes and baking instructions.
● Ability to taste test all products throughout the baking process to ensure quality control.
● Decorate cakes, cupcakes, donuts & other baked goods.
● Follow a time management schedule while maintaining efficiency.
● Attention to detail, must get to know what all our products should smell like, look like & taste like.
● Maintain a clean kitchen environment at all times.
● Portray a positive and passionate attitude at all times.
● Represent Chick Boss Cake's brand & act in accordance to company values & principles.

Qualifications:
-Positive upbeat attitude & flexibility to learn multiple job duties
-Must have a reliable vehicle & valid driver's license
-Ability to work shifts at all 3 locations (London, St Thomas & Woodstock)
-Previous experience in a commercial kitchen
Wage(s): We believe in unlimited earning potential and thus wage is based on your current skill level, previous experience & demonstrating your abilities on the job!
The wage can range from $14.00-$20.00/hour & up based on experience & length of employment with our company.
There is plenty of opportunity for growth, new positions becoming available often & yearly raises based on epic performance!

Availability: Must be flexible to work all shifts within business hours of Tues-Sat: 10am-6pm (and potentially start earlier and stay later)
Note: having a vehicle and flexibility to work between all locations is preferred.

Hobbies & Interests: Photography & travelling the world really fires up my creativity! A few of my favourite places I've been to are Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Bali, Malaysia, Germany, Austria, South Africa, Paris, Mauritius, Madagascar & Costa Rica (because I couldn't pick just one)! At home, I have two dogs- an Old English Sheep Dog named Brighton & a Mini poodle named Bianca, they are the sweetest! I enjoy reading & being outdoors ( Muskoka is my favourite)!
Bio: I started my business Chick Boss Cake 8 years ago when I was 23 years old as a home baker & hobby cake decorator. As my passion grew, so did my business and it came time to make that gut wrenching decision… You know the one- the decision to either quit my job as a women support worker at the local shelter & take this business seriously…or not.
I opened the doors to my first St Thomas shop in 2015. Shortly after it opened, I hired my husband to leave his Investment Career at TD Bank to come help me grow my cake business! Four years later, my second London location opened, and here we are today!
I am 33 years old, completely self taught both in business & in cake decorating. School was never my jam, but i respect it if its yours!
I’ve traveled the world & bought my dream home last year {Which is a pretty big deal for me because the struggle was real when I moved out at 16}.
I don’t feel in competition with anyone but myself.

Bio: i have always been really passionate for business and service. i worked in the banking industry for over 10 years and learned many transferable skills that apply to life and business. Playing hockey my entire life also taught me the beneficial quality of hard work and competitiveness. I am a very self motivated individual, and quite a morning person (to the displeasure of my wife sometimes).it is amazing to see the leaps and bounds our company has made since its inception, and i cant be thankful enough for all of our employees, customers, family, and friends which have helped shape things into what has become today. i am a firm believer that the work and positive attitude you put into anything you do in life, has a direct impact on your success. I am enthusiastic and excited for the future and what lies ahead, as we are creating something special together!
